My Nest IQ Outdoor stopped working (out of the blue).
Reset didn't work (no light), some days of the power, didn't work.
Checked the USB cable with my phone, did charge / seems to function.
I think I have this device for almost 2 years. It's installed on a location with no direct sunlight and hardly any rain.
Please let me know how to proceed.
PS
Also posted a comment on my NEST doorbel with the film coming off.
Please help me out, it seems there are some serious quality issues at Google / Nest.
If it was an AliExpress buy I might have expected this, but with the Google pricing in mind this is a serious disappointment. (and the time it takes me to follow-up)

Honestly save your time and your blood pressure and just order a used one off of eBay. These cams break from time to time and they are 100% NOT repairable.

@EmptyNester, thanks for your reply.
I personally hate to just throw away stuf, this does not fit the "Corporate Social Responsibility" I expect from companies these days. In my opinion equipment needs to be designed to be repairable, or at least work for 5 / 10 years.

hi MG70, I 100% agree with you. I live in an area where we have an electronics recycling place that lets you drop off electronics for recycling. So I can at least feel a little bit good that it isn't just going into a landfill.
