Have many Nest outdoor cams, and most do NOT restart after a power failure.
There is no need to wiggle any plugs, as all are fine. It was working before the power failed.
Nothing has changed. These are new cams.
I shouldn't have to plug / unplug the cams from the electric outlet every time the power fails.
Some will restart by themselves.
The blue light will not come on. If I flip the circuit breaker I can get them to power up.
This is NOT a physical issue. Wiggling any plug, ac or usb does nothing, and I need a ladder to do so.
What is the issue, and is Google / Nest going to step up to the plate and replace the cams or the power supplies or both? These cams are only about 6 months old.

Unresolved, yes still need help
Restart: By turning power OFF and ON
My customers are NOT happy that they have an issue each time the power blinks!

Hi there, Goldenboy.
Have you tried to Restart or Factory Reset the cameras? This would set them up as 'brand new' cameras, and it can clear out issues that they may be having. Please let me know if you need anything further.
Best Regards,
Brad.

I have the same issue. Google nest hello doorbell. Flashes blue then off, cannot complete setup. Removed device from app and did factory reset. Voltage from transformer to doorbell is fine. Just bought a 300 dollar nest floodlight but I'm considering returning after this.

I ihave (5) Nest cams and had a power failure a week ago. All but 1 came back on line. I had to cycle the power on the cam to get it to reconnect. Because mine is mounted high up on a wall and would require a ladder, I instead am now on a first name basis with all my circuit breakers, LOL. I cut the power there for about 10 seconds and it seems to work. But Yes, I agree with you. We shouldn't have to do that.
