Nest Outdoor Camera stopped detecting people

It was detecting people just fine, until a couple days ago. Nothing changed locally, camera is in the same place, wifi is the same, internet is the same.  It detects movement and sound, but no longer detects people.

 

We have gone through the settings, disabled and enabled people under activity and it has not changed. Also rebooted the camera.

Just to get started, I have some important questions that will help me understand what's exactly happening. Can you please answer them?

 

  • Is this happening just with the notifications, or is the camera not recording people?
  • Is your camera the first or second generation?
  • When did the issue start?
