Nest Outdoor Wired Camera will not connect to WIFI

Schnabby

My 2nd homes internet went out on Jan 14th.  I changed provides and thus router and had to set up new WIFI and change all my smart home devices including Nest Cams.  Was able to get all my smart home devices changed over including 3 other wired indoor Nest cams that work via the Nest App.   Was not able to get my less than one year old wired Nest Outdoor cam to connect to the new wifi system.  Reset it, and nothing.  Searched the forums and nothing.  Ran out of time up there and brought it back to my primary residence.  This also has many smart home devices and 3 other Nest Cams and a Nest Doorbell.

Still not able to connect the wired Nest outdoor camera to this network either.  Using either the Nest App or the Home app on my iPhone or iPad Pro.   At this point am looking at a means to return it and receive a new one.   Thank you.🤔

@Schnabby

Did you do a "factory reset" and not just a "restart"?

Both multiple times.

@Schnabby

Is your camera a Google Nest Outdoor Camera that gets installed in the Google Nest app or the Google Nest Camera (Battery) with the optional power cable that gets installed in the Google Home app?  Before you did a factory reset, did you remove the camera from the Google Nest app or Google Home app, as appropriate?

What happens when you try to reinstall your camera?

Its a wired Nest Outdoor camera.  It uses the Home app and not the Nest app to integrate.  I've tried both and nothing.  Yes removed the camera from the Home App then factory reset it. I run through the entire set up process and enter the wifi password, then it tries to process then prompts, Could not connect to WiFi.

As just another Google Nest customer I don't have anything else to suggest if you removed your Google Nest Camera (Battery) from the Google Home app and did a factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button until--after 10 seconds--the status light blinks yellow 4 times and you hear a countdown tone, then continuing to hold down the reset button until--after 12 seconds, the status light is a steady solid yellow while the camera resets and you hear a confirmation tone (as described in the link below).

An update, was finally able to use the Home App to connect the wired camera to my wifi network.  I had to tell the set up prompt it was an outdoor battery camera to get it to take, even though its a wired camera.  Now the Home App does not provide the correct web UI interface to operate the camera and says to remount it to turn it on even though its on.  Importantly, was able to connect it to the WIFI so know its working.  I'll take it back up to my 2nd home and set it back up with the new WIFI up there as it serves one of my several security cameras.  Thank you for your advice and assistance.  Much appreciated!
