Looking to see if this is possible. I installed the floodlight cam and it works great. It replaced on old halogen light that was on a switched circuit. The floodlight cam is now on that circuit. To keep it powered, the switch obviously had to be on. My question is this though. I realize that you can go into the app and turn the floodlights on by themselves. Is there a smart switch or something that I can replace the existing switch with that would allow me to turn the floodlights on and off without having to go into the app or using a voice assistant to do? I understand power would still need to be supplied so looking for options. Thanks!

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. As far as I am aware, I do not believe there is such an option for what you are looking for. The functionality is definitely connected to the Google Home App. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Best Regards,
Brad

Hey MBB1279,
Appreciate the help, Brad. Turning off and on the Nest Cam floodlight without using the Google Home app isn't supported. You can try checking any third-party retail store if they have a smart switch so you can control it. Our team is working hard to deliver the best experience for our users — we'll take this as feedback.

Thanks,
