So I had the older Google Wifi and decided to upgrade to the newer Nest Wifi this week. I kept the channel name and password the same, and everything integrated over just fine. I have 5 Nest cameras, 3 outdoor (older generation), 1 outdoor IQ, and the older doorbell camera (I think it's called the Hello). The 3 outdoor cameras and the doorbell camera have been going offline randomly since the new wifi got installed, not loosing power but loosing connection for a few minutes and then reconnects. They never did that with the old wifi, and it's going to be a pain to try and climb up to get the QR codes on the outdoor cameras. Do these older cameras not work properly with the new wifi system for others? Or do I just need to suck it up and reconnect the wifi to all the cameras?

If your cameras have all connected, I'm not sure that removing and reconnecting them would do anything.
Maybe other readers in this forum know why Google Nest cameras and doorbells would go offline frequently after upgrading from older Google Nest Wi-Fi to new Nest Wi-Fi devices.

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. No worries, we'll sort this out. What are the status lights of your cameras? How far are your cameras from the router? Also, what WiFi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
Give these steps a try:
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
JT

Apologies for the late response! I managed to reconnect them to the wifi individually, but it was just weird to me that it was dropping so frequently when I put the new nest Wifi points in the same spot as the last ones. I know the new ones are supposed to have more range than the older Google Wifi, but the router is less than 25 feet from all 3 cameras for our backyard. Thankfully it's better now and not dropping as frequently
