I'm having a two problems with my Nest products:
Problem #1 -- The Nest app repeatedly (every 5 to 10 seconds) loses its connection with the Nest service ("Try Again" error) -- this occurs when I access my devices with my iPad Pro running iOS 14.8. The issue makes the app virtually useless. Note: the Nest app works fine, in this regard, on my Android phone.
Problem #2 -- I recently installed a new Nest wireless outdoor camera (in addition to the older one I have at my front door) and have added the device via Google Home, but the Nest app does not acknowledge the existence of the new device. The Nest app sees only my original first-gen wireless outdoor camera and my first-gen Nest thermostat. This issue is persistent on both iOS and Android.
Google Home app seems to work fine. Only the Nest app is problematic. I have force quit the app, deleted and reinstalled, logged out and back in. Running out of ideas. Please advise as to a resolution. Thanks.
