Nest aware and nest aware plus subscription question

Ok so i have a an outdoor nest cam in my front window and had recently subscribed to nest aware. After an incident that occured yesterday i decided to upgrade to nest aware plus so i could have some 24/7 recording. 

After struggling to figure out how to upgrade, i found that i had to go to store.google.com and i ordered nest aware plus. This confused me though as none of my other subscriptions (including the previous nest aware) were listed. Only the nest aware plus. After going to my subscriptions by selecting manage subscription on the nest app, i saw that the $8 nest aware subscription was still listed alone with all of my other subscriptions apart from the nest aware plus subscription.

I canceled the nest aware subscription but now i am worried about not having the subscription at all. On the app, it always takes me to my subscriptions in the google play store and ofcourse nest aware plus is not listed there at all.

What is going on?

 

Edit: it also does not show in my subscriptions on here. But i don't even know if it would.

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but the whole way Google Nest handles Nest Aware subscriptions seems confusing and archaic.

I don't know what's on the Google play store. (We have iPhones.)

We access our Nest Aware Plus subscription here:

If you had an $8/month subscription, then maybe had a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription for 5-days of 24/7 video history for one 1st gen camera. These are Nest Aware prices:

If you have an option in the Google Nest app to manage Nest Aware subscriptions, then perhaps you have NOT migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676). (We migrated in 2020.)

Customers who have NOT migrated from a Nest Account to a Google Account can apparently access their 1st gen Nest Aware subscription here (it doesn't work for us):

You can only get a 2nd gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription using a Google Account. If you have NOT migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account and are NOT using the "Sign in with Google" option to sign into the Google Nest app with a Google Account, then did you use a separate Google Account to purchase your Nest Aware Plus subscription?

If that's not the case, and you had a monthly 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription, did you purchase the new 2nd gen Nest Aware Plus subscription for the same Google Nest "home/structure" as the one where your camera is located, and using the same Google Account you use to log into the Google Nest app?

2nd gen Nest Aware and Nest Aware Plus subscriptions apply to all 1st gen and 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Google Account. In our case we sign onto the Google Nest app using the "Sign in with Google" option using the same Google Account we use to sign into the Google Home app to access our 2nd gen cameras, and our Nest Aware Plus subscription covers ALL of our cameras and doorbells. If we go to Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Nest app, it shows "Active: Nest Aware Plus" with no options to manage the subscription. If we go to Settings | Subscriptions | Nest Aware in the Google Home app, it shows "Nest Aware Plus", with no options to manage our subscription except for a Billing Support link.

Yes i do use the sign in with google option. I've always only used one email account for all of these things. I've only recently decided to purchase the nest aware subscription due to us moving to a more sketchy part of town.

If things are working correctly, you should be able to go to your Google Nest Outdoor Camera in the Google Nest app and go to Settings | Nest Aware, and it should say "Active: Nest Aware Plus".

You should also be able to see your subscription on the Subscription Management page here:

And if you click on your subscription there, it should show the same Google Nest "home/structure" as is shown near the top of the screen in the Google Nest app.

If that is NOT the case, then I don't know what is going on, and would encourage you to use the "Contact us" link I referenced above.
