Nest battery doorbell chime response time

Hello, 

I know there was a subject on this mather but i can't respond on that tread anymore. 

When the Nest battery powered doorbell is pressed it takes about 10 seconds before the Nest Mini speaker (chime) responds. So sometimes i even miss a visitor or package because i arrived to late at the front door. 

Why is this still not solved yet? This is a Doorbell, the best is should do is let you know there is somebody at the front door...

Thanks for bringing this up to me, I'd love to take a look into this for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This might be helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

unfortunately this didn't work. the delay is still unworkable. Sometimes it's ok, it seems like everything goes into some kind of standby. because if you use the doorbell 2x in quick succession, there is almost no delay.

Since everything I've tried did not increase the reaction speed. (Reset, restart and other wifi router) I bought an "ohmkat" chime. This can be connected directly, whereby the receiver can be placed at the location of the google home.
Of course I am disappointed in the mediocre quality of the Google nest product. I normally have different experiences with Google. Unfortunately I had to solve it like this so as not to miss people or packages at the door.

thanks for the response. Of course I am also a big fan of Google products, I hope that the response time will be fixed in the future. (see more people on the internet with the same problems).
