Nest battery doorbell

Why doesn't the nest doorbell (battery) connect to Alexa?? I had the doorbell as a Christmas present and its great. but without a chime, unless you have your phone on you, you never hear anyone at the door. It just seems a bit pointless you can connect the nest thermostat but not the doorbell!?

Does anybody know when or if i will be able to connect my doorbell to Alexa?

I have the same problem.  They don’t seem to be compatible.  I have added the google nest skill in the Alexa app, but the google app then tells me there are no devices compatible with Alexa.  I don’t think they can work together.

Yes, the older cameras and devices that associate with the Nest App can work with Alexa, but the new devices that are managed in Google Home are not compatible with Alexa.  I don't know if there is any plan to create an Alexa skill for those devices, but I doubt it.
