Nest bell battery WONT CONNECT!!

I have tried EVERYTHING. 5ghz network, creating a 2.4ghz network, resetting the app,updating the app,resetting my network, resetting my router, resetting the doorbell,clearing the app cache, creating a network with no password, changing the distance of the router bell and device creating the connection.PLEASE HELP

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Doorbell Battery won't connect. Help's here!

 

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • How far is the doorbell from the router?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the doorbell?
  • Has the doorbell ever successfully connected to this network?
    • Probe for recent network changes like a new router or a recent move.
    • Probe for network name or password changes.
  • What color is the status LED light?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

 

  • Use a different phone or tablet: Try using a different phone or tablet to set up the doorbell. This can help identify if the inconvenience is with your device's Bluetooth or the Google Home app.
  • Factory Reset: When performing a factory reset on your Nest Doorbell Battery, it needs to be connected to its charger that came with the device.
