Nest cam 2nd generation not sending push notifications

Hello,

Does Nest cam 2nd generation send push notifications when someone is detected even without subcription (nest aware) ?

I do not receive any notifications which is disappointing.

Have you gone to Settings | Events | Seen Events for your camera in the Google Home app and turned on recording for the desired events, and then turned on notifications? You should get notifications, but without a Nest Aware subscription, you'll only be able to see recorded events for events that occurred in the most recent 3 hours.

Yes, I did. I even set up the detection zone and chose to send notifications for person detection, but I did not receive any notifications after several attempts.

However, when I activated the free one-month subscription, the notifications started working. I thought these features were supposed to work without a subscription.

You SHOULD get notifications even without a Nest Aware subscription:

I have no way to verify that, since we've always had a Nest Aware subscription.

Thank you for your answer. Maybe it is due to the country I live in (France) as it is written:

"Standard features and upgraded Nest Aware features are different depending on which camera, speaker or display you have and which region your home is in."
