My nest cams usually charge from 7% to 100% in 4 hours. Today one of my camera’s was on 7% when I plugged it in for charging it said it would take 15+ hours to complete to 100%. It said my cord was not the one that came with the box, when it is and it would only slowly charge because of this. How can I fix this?

Do you have the charging cord plugged in with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera?

Same issue here with short battery life and trickle charging forever. Purchased 2 cameras one is fine one is not. Suspect it’s a defective device and need to return….

Maybe Google Nest has some defective charging cords/adapters. The other post I linked to above was resolved with a replacement charging cord. Or maybe some of their batteries don't charge well.
We've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) since Sept. 2021, plugged in with the optional 10-meter power cable and the battery stays at 100% with the camera always "Live", in temperatures down to -18 degrees Fahrenheit.
