Nest cam wired indoor disconnecting

I bought a brand new nest cam indoor, it works brilliantly except for one issue. Every few minutes the camera goes black for a split second then comes back on. It will reset if I had the camera zoomed in back to the default view.

 

I've moved the camera to different rooms and see the same thing.

 

I've watched it happen through the Google home app and Google hub device so it's definitely the camera.

 

Any tips?

You could try a restart of your camera, and if that doesn't resolve it, try a factory reset, using the instructions on this Google Nest Help page:

If that does not resolve it, you might have a defective camera and could try contacting Support starting with this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp
