I have a 2nd generation nest camera (indoor wired) that until this evening has worked perfectly. I got a new wifi router today and now I can't get the camera to connect to it. I have already tried the following:-
1. Removed camera from google home app.
2. Restarted camera (NB the help article says that on plugging camera back in light should go white initially, then blue. Mine goes white momentarily and then just goes dark, never blue.
3. Tried to do factory reset but when I put a paperclip into the reset hole as instructed there is no button to press... have tried pushing clip in and holding for 30 seconds. According to help article a light should flash after 10 seconds and after 12/15 seconds a countdown should start. I get none of this. All online help articles are completely useless.
Can anyone help please? I need this fixed really urgently.

It sounds like your Nest Cam may be stuck in an unresponsive state rather than entering setup mode. Try these steps:
Unplug the camera and wait 30 seconds.
Hold the reset button (using a paperclip) while plugging it back in — keep holding for about 20–25 seconds until you see the light flash white, then release.
If it still won’t flash, try a different USB cable and power adapter to rule out a power issue.
Make sure your new Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz or dual-band and not set to WPA3-only — Nest cameras can’t connect to WPA3 networks.
Reopen the Google Home app → Add device → New device, and set it up again.
If the LED stays off after trying this, the camera may have failed during the Wi-Fi switch. Contact Google Nest Support with your serial number—they can check warranty and replacement options.

Thanks. Sorry I actually already got it working after repeated attempts. Just couldn't find my question again to update.
