I have a Google doorbell and Google Camera (outdoor).
I have had them for around 8 months.
From 2 weeks ago the Google camera has had a full 100% charge and then within 3-4 days it drops down to 16hrs left and saying that it needs to be charged again.
The doorbell has had no issues and they are both outside.
Is there any solution to this problem?

You have to go into Google home settings & change how much it's recording. You can set it to people, pets, cars, & all motions. It's best to go to events & make a zone. Set the zone to the land you own only. Or it will record every time someone walks in the street & every car passing.

Have set up all that from the start and has been fine for the past 8 months, only 2 weeks ago did it start dying, no changes to zones or recording times have been made.

Oh no, it most be your battery. It's going out. I don't see what else can be sucking out all the juice. Everything was working fine and there's no chances at all. Have people or pets been walking in that area more? If not, I'm to say the battery maybe going out.

Hi Darren-M,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand you're experiencing trouble with your Nest Camera Outdoor showing the battery drains too fast. I appreciate all your help, @Jeremyhall2727. I'm glad to help you.
To assist you further, please answer the following questions:
Do you have a wired or a wireless setup?
Are you able to check the camera feed?
Did you receive any notification from the Google Home app?
Did you notice or experience any power outages recently?
In the meantime, please review the status of the camera's battery. Please do the following:
Open the Google Home app.
Verify that the Google Account shown at the top right is the one linked to the camera.
Tap Favorites or Devices.
Select the camera from the list of devices.
Tap Settings.
Under Device features, tap Battery.
If there are any troubles with the battery state, the Google Home app provides a description of the current situation.
Please keep me posted.

Hi,
I have a wireless setup at the moment.
I can check the camera feed and everything is normal.
i have not received any notifications from Google home except that the camera battery was running low and to recharge it.
No power outages have happened.
I have gone through the settings and there is no troubles listed with the battery state.
I have kept it inside my garage on the mount since its last full charge and it hasn’t drained the battery like it does when out outside. I think it is the cold weather possibly affecting the battery life.

Hi Darren-M,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate the detailed information.
Based on your resolution, during cold weather the battery might drain fast. Try to place the Nest Outdoor Camera on a warmer day and keep monitoring if the situation persists.
Additionally, if it's possible, adjust the angle of their camera to a more productive area that catches fewer unimportant activities.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Byron
