Nest camera [battery] not connecting- one connects and the other doesn't

Hello Everyone:

I have a situation which is unlikely unique to this forum. I want to thank all of you for your dedication to helping those of us who are frustrated!!

Here goes - I have 2 Nest Battery Cameras. Both have been operating well up until their respective batteries needed charging. This has been done. I managed to get one of the cameras back up, reconnected and installed. The second one will not reconnect. I have taken the camera, my mobile and the QR code and stood next to the router. Reset the router and then tried again to have the second camera reconnect, No luck!! It does not seem to recognize the camera. I have also factory reset the camera at least twice. Now after resetting the router, the installed camera has gone offline. Cannot win!! Any help please???

We've had a battery camera but ours is plugged in with the optional power cable.  But nothing jumps out that would explain why one camera is working and the other is not.

You could try contacting Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

I have experienced similar issues with other nest devices, as have others. Google has a problem which they are not owning up to, and their chatbots will just waste your time

I went through support, which wasted an hour of my time to be told that I should buy a new one. If they know the answer, they are not telling us
