Opening this topic again. I still have this issue.
Originally, up until a few months ago. On the iPhone home screen, when you received a notification and slid it over, there was an option to "View Preview". It was fantastic. For some reason that disappeared. I have 3 devices at home. Both iPhones, running the latest iOS, it's gone. However, an old iPad 4 mini running iOS 14.7.1 still has the function.
I was previously commenting on another thread about this issue. The original posted there, miraculously had the issue solved. I have a hunch that he was on an Android device. I commented that I was still having the issue, but the moderators in their ultimate wisdom closed the thread - because the original posters issue was solved - it's closed. Even though the issue clearly still exists for others. So reposting. Ironically, that thread was already a 2nd thread on the subject, this is now a 3rd. Please either admit that the issue exists or point me to a solution for it.
iPhone 12 Pro Max - iOS 15.1 - Nest App version 5.67.0 - no previews
iPad 4 mini - iOS14.7.1 - Nest App version 5.60.0 - has previews
Either the iOS version is causing this (I suspect that's unlikely) or the Nest App version changed something from 5.60 to 5.67

I’m having this same issue. It happens on all iOS devices I have - iPhone 12, iPad, Apple Watch. Google - any help here?

The situation is the same as before, nothing has changed. So would still appreciate a solution. Which I suspect is a Nest App update. Since it would appear to be something on the Nest App side of things that has changed.

This is such a strange support forum. People report a problem, support comes back and says something along the lines of - thank you for reporting it. Then offers no solution whatsoever.
Then you come back and ask - is the problem fixed????
How is it fixed, you've offered no solution to the problem to fix it. There's been no new version of the app. on OSX that I've seen. So unless someone does something behind the scenes - your end - how is the problem going to magically disappear?
So, in conclusion, in answer to your question - YES - THE ISSUE STILL EXISTS. If magically it disappears, I'll be very happy to let you know. But please report your end, that this IS a problem, and it is fixable. Just needs someone to fix it your end.
As others have said - if you need us to assist, by giving you information - then ask for it. We want to help you fix it.

In a similar boat here with my iPhone app and Google Nest Doorbell. Hoping for a solution as every time I get a notification, the space for the preview appears, but is blank.

No longer experiencing this. Suddenly it worked today. Would have been great to hear that there was a fix in advance however...
