Nest camera will not connect to WiFi

I have been trying to connect my g Google nest camera for three weeks now I have a package through ADT security. I’ve spoken with their technician. Did a virtual set up could not complete the set up called T-Mobile and after all the troubleshooting we did they decided that it is not a T-Mobile issue my camera will not connect to Wi-Fi. No matter what I do. I’ve set up the 2.5 GHz and still it will not work. I’ve tried everything in the trouble shooting steps online and called several people nobody can seem to help me. I’m thinking this product doesn’t work with T-Mobile even though it shows it is compatible. What can I do? I’m getting pretty frustrated.

Did the camera come from ADT?   Ask whom ever yo got it from to return it or replace it?

Another option is to open an official support ticket and speak with a google tech person.  Here is the link to get you going...

Hi Olson984,

Thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that your Nest cameras are unable to connect to your Wi-Fi. I understand how frustrating this must be. I'm here to help.

Before I begin, please answer these questions for further assistance:

  • What type of device do you have?
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • What’s the color of the LED status light?
  • How far is the device from the router?
  • Can you connect to the internet with other devices?
  • Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?
  • Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal?

Keep me posted. I'll look forward to hearing about your response.

Regards,

Byron
