We just moved into our house and the previous resident had put in a Nest camera. I set it up and it worked for a few days. It stoped working and won’t reset. It’s not the electricity source - I plugged it into a different socket and removed it from the app. The reset button doesn’t work. Is it dead and ready for the scrap heap? I use the iOS Nest app. TIA

Did the previous resident remove the camera from their Google Nest app before they moved out? See this Google Nest Help page: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11151047?hl=en#zippy=%2Cother-google-devices-set-up-in-...
If your camera is one of the newer ones released since the fall of 2021, the previous owner should have removed it from their Google Home app: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11151047?hl=en#zippy=%2Cnest-thermostat-nest-doorbell-b...
If you're getting a "camera is connected to another account" error, see this page: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9249728?hl=en

Hi, thanks for checking in. I’m going to take down the camera. It worked for a few days but now it doesn’t. I assume it’s broken and no longer working. Thanks anyway!
