Nest cameras no longer online

I have 2 new battery powered nest camers that were setup successfully and both charged to 100%. Both were connected to internet then both went offline and will not reconnect. I have tried to readd them with no success.

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand that your two new Nest Cam (battery) devices have gone offline and won't reconnect. I appreciate your effort in trying to re-add them. No worries, help is here!

To better assist you with accurate information, I’d like to confirm the following:

  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • How far are the cameras from the router?
  • Can the cameras find other Wi-Fi networks?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the cameras?
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
  • What is the status LED light on your cameras?
