The playback of videos isn’t working. Live video is working though.
i have updated the app.
Check my connection. 500 Mbps.
Reset my google home network
reset the camera
tried it from different phones
looked on your forums for a resolution
any other suggestions?

Are you using the new gen 2 cameras or the previous gen 1 cameras?
Are you using the NEST app or the Google Home app?
If you using Gen 1 cameras can you view the recorded video from your web browser on your computer? (IE home.nest.com)?
One more thing: what happens if you turn off your WIFI on your phone (forcing the phone to use Cellular data). Does the playback work now?

My cameras are new. I believe they are gen 2. I am using the nest app, but I have also tried the google app. I just got fiber because I thought that would help and I have a subscription for video history with nest. I will try the cellular data option you recommended, but doubt that will work because it doesn’t playback on computer either.

So if you have the newer cameras they 100% don't work properly (or at all) with the NEST app. Despite the name "NEST" on the cameras the new gen 2 cams only work with the Google Home app. This is part of Google's plans to move the produce forward... but if you read thru these threads you will see they took 100 steps backward. Sadly, there is no way to view the Gen 2 cams on a computer so we can't test it that way either. The only other thing I can think of is make sure you are on the newest version of the Google Home app (same is try for the nest app). To verify this go to the app store and search for Google Home. If there are no updates it will simply say "OPEN". But if there are updates it will say "UPDATES".

I appreciate the help @EmptyNester. What type of Nest Camera do you have? Is this installed using the Nest app? If so, is the Nest camera in the same home where your Nest Aware subscription is?
