Nest cams - 2 user, disable notifications for 1.

Hello - Multiple people in my family have access to google home location, including the nest cams. Some users do not want alerts on their phones, when others do want alerts. How can I customize the alerts per user?

Thanks.

Hi @dspec

I believe the only way that you are able to do this is to have each person set up the notifications for the app directly and there mobile settings. I don’t think you have the ability to manage notifications inside the app for specific people. It will need to be done in the phone settings for each individual person. Hope this helps!

This isn't an idea solution for us. Imagine this use case where there are multiple locations, your apartment, and your parents cottage. You want to access the cottage cameras when there, but you don't want notifications. But you want notifications for your apartment.

Companies like wyze (much cheaper cameras) have the ability to set notifications in your app for you, without impacting another user.
