Nest doorbell (battery) UPVC mounting

Eds89

Hi,

Anyone here had any experience mounting the battery version of the Nest doorbell to a UPVC door frame?

Are the included screws self tappers, and is it a good idea to still use the rawl plugs even on a UPVC frame, just for a bit of extra anchorage?

Cheers

Eds

For anyone that stumbles on this that is interested, I simply drilled two 2mm pilot holes, and used the included self tappers to secure to the UPVC frame.

Would probably suggest avoiding the lock side of a door frame, just in case of hitting mechanisms inside, but otherwise it was fairly painless!
