Nest doorbell (battery) stopped working, will not factory reset. HELP!

A year old, Nest doorbell (battery) stopped working.  I charged it but it wont start. The light comes on when plugged to power but turns off quickly.  Obviously can not be found with the app.  It will not factory reset. HELP!
