If you're paying for nest aware like i am for the 24/7 video and you want to see something in the timeline, you cannot. It will only record events and even if wired will still only record events. I've ben paying for a service that i haven't until now needed and just learned of this isssue (yes, it's an issue, i don't care about battery life can charge daily if needed or can wire). gonna see about a refund i suppose

Unfortunately:
"24/7 video history is not available for the Nest Doorbell (battery), even with optional wired installation."

It's because the battery doorbell always runs on battery power even when wired:
"If you’ve connected your Nest Doorbell (battery) to your existing doorbell wiring, the wires don’t directly power the doorbell. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the power that comes through the wires, and the doorbell runs off the battery charge."

Oppps, my apologies, MplsCustomer is correct. The (battery) version of the doorbell won't support 24/7 even when wired. You need to get the (wired) version to get 24/7.... Here is the link...

You may want to confirm that you are actually signed up for NEST AWARE PLUS and not just NEST AWARE. You can check this by going into the Google Home app and click on the the SETTINGS GEAR in the lower right corner. Then select SUBSCRIPTION and then select NEST AWAYRE. It will tell you at the very top which subscription you have. Mine says 60-day history and 10-day 24/7 video history.

i don't need a link to the wired version, i obviously am aware of how to buy a doorbell as i previously purchased one (same place, ftr). also if you read the OP you can see it's a battery doorbell and i wouldn't care about manually charging to keep the service. don't need it in the early am. The issue is A. they dont tell you this ahead of time and it's not very publicly stated (as your awareness of the issue would indicate) and B. They ALLOW you to purchase a service which advertises 24/7 access but cannot deliver. you should NOT be allowed to attach the subscription to this device or if you want the other lame and unnecessary IMHO features like facial awareness or 60 days of event history they should have a popup or disclaimer. I could not get a replacement or a refund for a worthless device and service that is unnecessary now. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone as a security device.

I sent you the link because they DO tell you ahead of time. If you scroll down it says "Nonstop video – only with the wired Nest Doorbell."
And they let you buy the service because there is a good chance you have other cameras that DO support 24/7.

So I should buy a sports car because there's a "good chance" I have a commuter? You're cute, the nest cam battery is the commuter in this analogy btw. Show me where you see this or go online to posts (many of them my own) on Reddit, x, nextdoor even invalidating your claim. I've uploaded screenshots there, can't here
