Just bought the nest doorbell (battery) last week. So far it's great, but one thing I don't know how to adjust is the "video range". The sidewalk is probably about 20-25 yards away from the doorbell, but everytime someone walks by on the sidewalk, I get notified. Is there a way to adjust the camera so that it only notifies me when someone actually comes to the door?

While you cannot adjust the range, you can adjust “activity zones”. You can set up specific zones to alert you and also to provide no alerts at all. For example you can set up a zone near the front door to trigger on movement or people and then have every other area outside that “zone” provide no notifications for anything. Play around with it and you’ll find a good combination.
