Nest doorbell camera

Just had doorbell installed four days ago it only worked for the first evening and the next morning it won’t show any live feed for the doorbell camera it keeps saying stream unavailable or check battery and the battery is fully charged

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Nest camera! I'm sure it's frustrating, but I'm happy to look into this and see how we can help out. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. By doing this, it should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

i am having this issue and and STILL no fix... im reading everyone elses post on this issue but you guys are not offering any solutions???

Hey ninar123,

 

I'm sorry for the trouble. Could you check the battery state of your camera? Here's how:

 

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to the camera. To switch accounts, tap the drop-down arrow. Then, choose the correct account.
    Note: If your account isn’t on the list, you can select Add another account.
  3. Select the camera from the list of devices.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Under Device features, tap Battery.

We’re sorry to hear that. I know where you’re coming from. No worries, we’ll sort this out. How far is your Nest Doorbell (battery) from the router? What’s the status light of your doorbell battery? Do you have an Android or iPhone? Do other devices experience slow internet speeds? Also, what WiFi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
