Nest doorbell not charging

Hi, my nest doorbell won't charge. I've done a reset and a factory reset and neither has remedied the issue. Pre both resets when I attach a charging cable the LED on the front did not turn white and I left the bell on charge for a few hours and it did not charge. Both resets did not fix the issue? What are my options?

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand your Nest Doorbell (battery) isn't charging, even after being plugged in for a few hours. I appreciate the troubleshooting you’ve already tried. No worries, help is here!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • Are you using the original charging cable and adapter that came with the doorbell?
  • Could you describe the steps you took to perform the factory reset?
  • Did you receive any specific notifications from the Google Home app?

In the meantime, please try the following:

  • Inspect for physical damage: Check the cable for any visible cuts or fraying.
  • Clean the charging port: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove any debris from the port.
