We have had the Nest doorbell for less than two months, and in that time it has fallen off the mounting and shattered the camera three times. The doorbell is mounted to the manufacturer’s specifications, but when our door closes it often dislodges and falls off. Is there a way to prevent this issue? We are sending back for yet another replacement, but I’m quickly losing patience with this product.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, I can imagine this has been stressful for you. As you stated you're contacting support for a replacement, that would be my suggestion as well. This sounds like there may be an issue with the doorbell mount. Have you already reached out to support? If so, what is the case number they have provided you with?
Best regards,
Brad

Yes. We will send in for a replacement, but I’m sure this will continue to be an issue. Are there any tips for ensuring the bell stays firmly affixed? We have followed the mounting instructions exactly. It falls at least once/week.
thank you.

Hey Acasile,
Oh, that’s cool! I appreciate you giving us an update here. Here’s an article that would walk you through installing your Nest Doorbell (Battery). I would also recommend contacting our partnered Nest Pro to schedule a visit, they’ll have a better look and help you with this issue.
Regards,
JT
