My nest doorbell after my neighbor brushed up against it went from colored video to black and white. Now there are also red led lights surrounding the camera. What is the issue with this and how can I correct it.
TIA

Does your doorbell appear to be damaged? The red lights are probably the infra-red (IR) lights used for night vision; perhaps night vision is on all time time due to physical damage to the doorbell.
Can you go to your 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell in the Google Home app, go to Settings | Video and make sure "Night vision" is set to "Auto"?

This was strange. There was no apparent damage. I didn't change any Settings but the next morning the video was in color again. The moment it went to black n White as my neighbor made contact there was a zapping noise, like a bug getting zapped, that was recorded. Seems like it's working normal again. 🤷. Thanks for the advice.

Hello everyone,
@Jlin, thanks for posting here in the Community. Were you able to check your night vision settings? If your Nest Camera doesn’t automatically switch to or from Night Vision when the light conditions change, you may check if your night vision is set to off. Check that the outdoor lights don’t shine into your camera lens. In some cases, bright lights can delay or prevent your Nest Camera from switching to Night Vision. Reset Night Vision settings or restart the camera.
In case you set up your Nest Camera in the Google Home app:
In case you set up using the Nest app:
I appreciate the help, SunshineK and MplsCustomer.

Hello, do you have night vision turned on full-time? This could be the source of the issue as it's an option. May want to double check that it's on auto.
