I had an old wired nest doorbell which worked fine for years, but recently started to keep going offline. I assumed it was the doorbell, and so had it replaced. I now have exactly the same issue. It’s not the wifi. I’ve been there when it switches off, and can tell it has a strong signal. I’ve tried reset, but nothing seems to help.
Has anyone found a cure for this?

If BOTH your old and new Google Nest doorbells have been going offline, is it possible that your doorbell transformer is going bad? Or is it possible something is now affecting the Wi-Fi signal strength at your doorbell's location?

Hi Kate15,
Thanks for posting here in the community! I understand how frustrating it is when your Nest Doorbell (wired) keeps randomly going offline. I'd be happy to help!
Just to follow up, I want to know if you still need assistance. If so, could you please provide the following information:
Additionally, I recommend checking the specific voltage supplied from the transformer by using a multimeter to measure the voltage or consulting a local professional. This is to confirm if the low power is causing the behavior. For more information, please refer to this article: Check Nest Doorbell compatibility.
Keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenniffer
