Nest doorbell

Why can I not find nest battery doorbell on the nest app ? Only see it on google home

I suggest reading thru all the comments on this thread of people complaining about that.  The new nest cams are not supported in the NEST app.  They only work in the Google Home app.  Also, there is no way to view the new cams from your computer's browser. 😞

That’s BS to even call it a nest product if it dose not work with nest app. I have probably 50  nest cams though multiple properties looks like I will be switching to Ring. And going to IOS to get away from Google seems I’m getting more and more problems with it Nest, nest was great before Google 

I agree with you Scottsdman.  I returned my new camera and ended up purchased a used (previous gen) camera from Ebay and it works great.   I'm not ready to jump just yet as many of the other cams have their issues as well.  I'm going to just try and stick it out 6 months and hope that Google comes thru with MAJOR improvements to the Google Home app (or comes to their senses and just allows the new cams to work in the NEST app until such time that the Google Home app becomes useable).

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
