My nest floodlight camera works great all day, and used to work great all night. It used to pick up every car that drove down the street at all hours of night and early mornings. I’ve realized the last week or so, I’m getting nothing between about midnight and 6:30am. It’s like there’s a time setting for picking up activity that changed maybe? It picks up motion fine in the dark all the way up until midnight so I don’t think it’s a motion sensor thing?

I am having the same issue starting even earlier in the evening. Not being able to create clips unless there is an event for this camera makes this a HUGE problem. I am relying on this for security so night functionality is key. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey there,
I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
