Nest indoor cameras are a joke! Why don't they have backup QR codes or key codes linked to your serial no on file??? My camera has been used as a baby camera just sitting on my wall. The camera is only 2 years old. The QR code and key code on the back scratched off very easily and was unusable. I went to re-set up the camera for baby no. two and could not connect to the device as I had no QR code or key code. Then when connecting to three different computers it wouldn't install. I spent hours online with support multiple different times. NOTHING WORKED. Then they tell me I have to just throw out the device. What a waste and large environmental impact. Don't waste your money or take a screenshot of the codes for future reference.
