Nest out door camerea detecs vehicle comibg out of the garage but not entering the driveway to the g

My nest outdoor camera will see people entering my driveway but not vehicles?

Strongly it does send notifications of our vehicles leaving the garage via the driveway?

We see some of the same anomalies with our Google Nest Outdoor Camera mounted over our garage door. It does not always detect a vehicle entering or leaving the garage.

Hey,

The camera does NOT consistently pick-up vehicles. It is sporadic.

At a close distance it does recognize people.

not impressed with the product. At $225 CAD and a google product I expect more.

@RocknRob thanks for posting here in the Community. I'm sorry if you're not getting your expected alerts. To confirm, do you have an activity zone set up? You need to check the events settings of your Nest Camera with your Nest app or Google Home app.

Follow these steps:
Open the Home app > select your Nest Camera > go to settings > Events > seen events > select the events that you wanted to get an alert from.
