NestCam outdoor not recording certain activity

My NestCam Outdoor will not record and save activity history, for two cars. My gray Jeep and my father’s gray Camry. However, it records and saves every other vehicle that comes into our driveway.  The only thing we can guess is that the color of those two vehicles so closely matches the color or the gravel driveway, it can’t “see” them. Odd tho.  Did a test with my jeep by putting white paper on the hood. Then it recorded it first try, took it off, it never recorded after four tries both day and night. Could this color be a thing ?  Assumed the motion would be the trigger but having a problem with some cars.

Still looking into solving my odd problem where my NestCam Outdoor camera will not record and save activity history, for two specific cars. My gray Jeep and my father’s gray Camry. However, it records and saves every other vehicle that comes into our driveway.  Note the driveway is gray gravel.

I am not quite sure I have ever heard of this being an issue before. I would suggest that if your device is still in warranty it may be good to see if you can get a replacement with support.
