Please make it so the newer cams show up in the Nest app. I absolutely hate everything about the Google Home app. It’s not as convenient or user friendly as the Nest app. It’s so silly that the newer cams don’t show in the Nest app! If you want to force people to use this horrible Google Home app, at least make it work like the Nest app.

Hi @Jesiiiwms , I was looking for the same; especially to schedule on/off for our Nest Cam (Battery). Unfortunately Google took away some basic functions!
And it appears they don't have any interest fixing this issue or allow any new devices to add to Nest App 😞

My outdoor cam battery almost never records events. Even though it’s set up to. A huge disaster all around.

Judging from other posts in this forum, the cameras don't capture events as well when they are running on battery power. Our Google Nest Camera (Battery) is plugged in all the time with the optional power cable and does alright.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.
However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
