New phone and router

Resolved! 2nd Gen Doorbell chime adapter not working

I have a mechanical chime which works well with the 2nd gen google doorbell. When the chime attachment is install it will not work no matter what options I change on the app. Any thoughts? Just not use the chime attachment?

Can nest doorbell short out the chime?
