New outdoor camera issues

I do not have a camera icon on my google home app but my outdoor camera is listed under devices. I get notifications and see video in history but can’t access real time. 

also camera is only picking up people and I want it to capture animal activity how do I fix these? Thanks

Not being able to see video in Real-Time I believe is a known problem that many people on this forum have reported.  As best I can remember this is something that has to be fixed on the GOOGLE side of things.   I suggest you open a support ticket so that you can talk to an actual Google Nest Tech that should be able to get it going for you.   If this works please return here and let us know if and how they fixed it.
