Newest cameras wont zoom and enhance??

Am I missing something, or do the new cameras, which have to be added using Google Home (and CANNOT be added through the Nest app) cannot zoom and enhance the way the older cameras could.  I want to reset the image to zoom into a particular area and have it hold there.  Cant seem to do that with the new units.

The Google Home app does not have the "Enhance" feature of the Google Nest app; hence the newer cameras cannot be set to remain zoomed.  It's one of several features that are lacking for the newer Google Nest cameras.

Many thanks for confirming. Frustrating and disappointing that, especially in the age of AI, features are moving backwards (many, many years!), Rather than in the right direction! Sucks!
