No Time/Date stamp on Nest Cams (2nd gen)?

It's been about 2 years and Google Nest Cam (2nd gen) literally hasn't implemented a time/date stamp feature?! It can only be set up on Google Home, not Google Nest, and there is no way at all to view time/date on a downloaded video. This completely eliminates its use as a security camera; how could such a basic function be missing?

My cameras have never worked properly in over a year. The battery cameras and associated home app is purely not fit for purpose at all as a security camera system. Its complete rubbish just garbage...

We understand that timestamps are only available for Nest Cameras set up with the Nest app, this feature isn’t available in the Home app. Also, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature to the Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this link to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern.
