I didn't want to get involved with the Google Home App as I was perfectly fine with Nest, but I bought a V2 indoor wired camera to add to my family of V1 indoor and outdoor cameras. Everything had to be migrated to the Google Home App.
I installed my new camera. It worked at first, but then it stopped working. I factory reset the camera and did a re-install. It's working fine now.
The problem is that the old installed camera still sits in my list of cameras in the Google Home app.
There is no way to delete it. I go to DEVICES, press down on the camera I want to remove, and a blank page says INTERNAL ERROR (with ice cream cone) and I can't do anything. Pressing on the three vertical dots does nothing.
How does one remove a camera from the Google Home devices? Maybe the problem is that the same camera was renamed to another room on the second install.
