No events detected when i try to review the event

I get a notification of an event from my Nect doorbell. I open the Home app on my Android phone to view the event and I start seeing the event and then it disappears. 

If I then go to activities there is nothing there and it says no events detected. There are no events for weeks and I know there has been events.

I do not have a plan for monitoring the doorbell. I have had the camera for a couple of years and the couple of hours of video storage has worked fine for me. Has something changed so I need to have a plan to even see an event?

I am currently away so this is very frustrating as I cannot view events.

• How long does it take for events to disappear?
