No qr or 5 digit code, how to hook up to internet

I have a hard wired nest cam, and don't have a qr or 6 digit code.  How can i hook it up to my new wifi.   I have tried removing the cam from nest, etc.  Can it be done using  the serial number?

The 6-character Setup code is imprinted on the back or bottom of the Google Nest Outdoor Camera, above or below the QR code.  On the 1st gen wired indoor camera, I think it might be on the base.  (Ours is mounted in the garage and I haven't taken it down for awhile.)  Has it worn away or rubbed off? Google Nest does not provide an option to install using the serial number.
