I have two nest outdoor cams and a nest doorbell. All of them capture great video. However, whenever I click on the camera, I only see a static timeline of each event that occurred, but cannot click to view the video. In fact, when I try to view the timeline, I often see the message “get more with Nest Aware“. I paid for the 30 day subscription. But I understand that even without a subscription, you should still get a three hour history of videos. Not sure if I’m missing something or if the subscription just doesn’t work.
Anyone have any ideas?

If you go to the page below, (or go to Settings | Nest Aware in either the Google Nest app or Google Home app), it should show you which Nest Aware subscription you have:

This page also tells you which Google Nest "home/structure" your subscription applies to.
Is your Nest Aware for the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your cameras and doorbell?
If you have the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in 2021, and do NOT have a Nest Aware subscription, you get event history for events in the most recent 3 hours. For older cameras, you just get static shots without a subscription.
