No video on 1st generation nest camera

I have a first generation nest camera and can’t view the camera video. The light on the front is solid green and on the iPhone app all that shows is the current temp. I have unplugged it multiple times and try restart and it says connected to another account. I have always had just one account and never had a problem since I bought it in 2019. Couple weeks ago it just stopped showing video. When I try scan code on back it comes back with automobile site. Any idea what I can do?

Thanks for reaching out and sharing all the steps you’ve tried to fix the issue with the Nest camera. Let’s check it out.

 

The solid green light on the camera means that your Nest camera is turned on, connected to a Wi-Fi network, and is streaming video.

 

Please check if you have more than one home in the app. If yes, you need to switch between them.

  1. Open the Nest app Nest app.
  2. At the top left, tap Menu .
  3. Tap the home you want to switch to.

You can follow the steps here if you’re still getting a message that the camera is connected to another account.
