Not getting notifications on nest cam and floodlights

Hello I can’t seem to enable notifications.  I set up zones and camera works great but I don’t have the ability to enable notifications

Hi Jess,  are you using the NEST app (Gen 1 cameras)?  Or the Goole Home app (Gen 2 cams sold after September 2021)?   When  you say  you don't have the ability to enable are you saying the option isn't there?  Or it is grayed out?  Or it just isn't working.
