Not receiving nest notifications anymore

We've migrated to gmail accounts as Nest now requires but notifications have ceased. Notifications are activated in the app and on the phone's settings. Everything is online. Nest has no outages. We're signed in. The camera is recording and identifying motion and people - I can see it in the Nest app. Home/away assist is off as is Schedule. I've read the troubleshooting pages and followed all the steps (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9296548?hl=en#zippy=%2Ccheck-for-a-nest-service-outage%...) . No success. How do we get notifications working again?

I have done everything but still no notifications. What is the point of having these cameras if they aren’t notifying you of movement or sounds.

Have you checked the settings to make sure that you have notifications turned on in your phone for the app? And check out the settings in the app for notifications, Familiar Faces, and any other form of alerts. If you have a smart speaker like a Google Mini or a Gen2 Hub, you can play the alerts through those if you wish. Just have to set it up. But you should at least be getting notifications to your phone.

 

Restart your device, see if that works. If that doesn't, then I would suggest you Factory Reset your device. Fair warning here, it will essentially be a new device and you will need to add it again to your Home. However, it usually does the trick to restore system defaults, and I have seen it working for most people who try. You can learn how to Restart and Factory Reset your device here. I am having the same issue.

No notifications even when we are on the driveway.

My pixel phone and other devices no longer receives nest doorbell notifications, it just stopped a few weeks ago, I mad no changes to my settings and I can get them turned back on.

I am having this same issue......zero notifications.  The camera is working and all of my notifications are turned on, on both my phone and the Nest App.  There is obviously an issue going on with the Nest camera push notifications.  Please look into this matter instead of just telling us to do a reset.

I get the notifications but no images on it, hast a blank nothing

Hi, same issue. Tried all suggested steps but still no joy. Zero notifications. Events are indeed created and I can access them later but the whole point is to be notified WHILE it's happening. How can you fix this?
