Notifications to late to motion or person at door

Ive hav not received any improvements in 5 years...Ivr had Google Nest cameras for years now. The lag time for notifications for "People" and "Motion" events has always varied. Sometimes it's 5 to 20 seconds. Other times, it might be several minutes. Occasionally it's even more. Or it can be anything in between.  PLEASE SUPPORT PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE!!!!!!

These delays sometimes vary between 5 to 20 seconds, other times taking minutes, or may not receive any notifications at all in between. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially since this has been an ongoing situation. I’m here to help.

To assist you better, please answer the following questions:

  • What type of Nest Camera do you have? (Here is a helpful article to identify the model of Nest Camera).
  • Which application used to manage the Nest devices, the Google Home app or Nest app?
  • Have you checked the notification settings to ensure they are configured correctly for your expectations?
  • Are you expecting push or email notifications?
  • Are the notifications delayed on multiple mobile devices?
  • What is the make and model of the mobile device, and is it running Android or iOS?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already taken?
